This is why we do rescue...
Charlie (formally know as Marlon) was bought off the streets of Newark from a Craigslist ad - he ended up at Happy Tails and we started the process of socializing him from a snarling untrusting pup to now being a THERAPY DOG  with his brother Obie!!   Now that's a Happy Tale and we couldn't be more proud of his progress and thankful to his new dad for taking a chance on him.

Coco is Home for the Holidays!!
She was adopted and is doing great - YEAH for COCO!!

Look at that face!  Coco is a two year old Shih Tzu and Schnauzer mix who was rescued from a local shelter.  She is a happy girl who gets along well with other dogs and loves to play all day.  We have only been able to piece together her past but unfortunately it seems her younger days weren't so good and she has some stranger anxiety and will need to be well socialized.   Once Coco knows you she's nothing but a fuzzy ball of love and you have a life long friend.
 She is spayed, up to date with vaccines and very well house trained.   Do you have room in your home and heart for this special girl?  We promise she'll make you smile everyday!Smile

Happy Update!
Storm has found a wonderful new home and we couldn't be happier for him!!

It was a rainy night when we picked up our new pup who needed rescue, hence his name STORM!  
We can't begin to imagine what neglect this poor guy endured but his progress has amazed us all of us and now just 2 months later he's ready to move on to a forever home.  Storm is a happy playful boy who would love a canine companion to romp with all day and a warm bed to snuggle in every night.  Meet your new best friend!! 
Neutered, micro chipped, house trained and up to date vaccines.
